Got the bottom end to reassemble tomorrow, got a new rear main oil seal (obviously). My question is, the mains cap which forms the lower half of the rear main seal retainer has some small half moon gaskets sealing it to the block.

Can't find these anywhere on service box and they look "formed" to me, not made of sealant etc etc... so do i have to replace them, and if so do i buy them off Pug, or do i refit and seal round them with rtv?

Cheers Mei. I'll get on the blower to Pug first thing.

Carl, I didnt buy the gasket set complete as i had most odd gaskets anyway.

Will they keep these seals in stock I wonder?
