Final drive of about 3, something that will make about 130mph at 5k rpm in top

Would a 3.69 final drive off a 205 1.9 gti make a lot off difference if added to a gti6 spped box ?

Rule is higher for less top speed, Lower for Higher top speed
Try Avanti but it would be special order and allot of money as most are made for motorsport applications

He's trying to go the other way. He wants higher speeds at lower revs to make it suitable for use on a diesel engine.

ahh, probably easier getting an ML6 gearbox then as they were used on hdi's.

The 6 speed shaft is longer than the 5 speed ones.
