Does anyone know how easy/hard is it to change a heater matrix, e.g is it a dash out job or can I be done without removing the dash? |

I'm in the middle of helping my brother with his matrix in his Xsara. There's SO much shit to get out of the way before you get to the matrix! It's in the deepest, darkest depths of the car. An entrie shed full of very carefully labeled dashboard parts. I've come to the conclusion that this isn't something I want to do again in a hurry so will be putting it back together very carefully. Enjoy, and try not to snap the plastic connector when pulling the pipes off. |

seeing as you've unbolted and unplugged the dash you may as well take it out of the car completely, 3-4 hours.________________________________________ need a part number? get on here - http://public.servicebox.peugeot.comBring on the Trumpets. |

3 - 4 hours is a bit optimistic imo. If you've done it before a few times then yes 3 - 4 hours sounds reasonable. When I did mine I allocated an entire weekend and did two 8 hour shifts on it by myself before I finally finished up.________________________________________ Team Peugeot Sport 308 GtiBlack T'99 Gti - may she rest in peace - written off in a shunt on the A329m |

Got mine to do as its just failed, any way to tell which one of the two possible matrixes is fitted before I start or do I just have to order both and hope I can return the unnecessary one?________________________________________ R H Davey Welding Supplies.
