Sadly not a diesel, but a 306 GTi-6. 62,000 miles from new and it's pretty much a minter, just needs a couple of bits tidying up.

Just need to find a GTi-6 badge and a new gearknob now!

JP

Don't forget the not so mint fog lights and possibly a rear wiper, espcialy if it's for a bint. Thumbs up

Back wiper was sorted before I picked the car up, fog light has already been out and cleaned up. Just needs some GTi 6 badges, a new gear knob and a good old clean and polish.

Paid £1200 for it.

Mark, I need to pick your brains at the next PSOOC meet about doing the cambelt on it.

Can't change my username as I've been jammapic all my life on forums, for years...

One problem with the 6.... it's not as fast as my 1.9 Diesel Smile

Yeah I should be there Mark, I've got a lot on with work but I'll find the time... we can go over it there.

What diesel have I got. It's a 1.9 DT, the XUD model. Hybrid GT25 turbo, big pump, ported and polished etc, totally stripped out, cage, buckets, 950kg(ish) and 209.9hp with 320lb/ft of torque.

To be fair that diesel looks pretty quick Yes (not as fast as my gti6 though Razz)

Also, how did you get it down to 950kg? Can't see the engine making that much difference, and its bloody hard to get under the ton mark.

XUD is slightly lighter than a RS engine, and its bloody quick and smooth with its power. Couldnt touch it with the Rallye. And it handles extremely well also!
