Car shudders really bad above 4500 rpm, the whole dash shakes its self to bits! Thinking it could be an engine mount. Any ideas? Ta! |

Had bad shaking with revs on a 405 not long ago. Think it was the lower mount as the gearstick wobbled violently! If you'd have put your skull next to it at maximum thrust there would have been cracks! Think it was the lower mount that was ruined. That or bent driveshafts. Never bothered to find out. The shakes were what made the car. |

I've got similair issues at the moment, had the wheels refurbed and changed the bottom mount - top mount looks o.k so I'm looking at driveshafts. CLICK MEAny advice on where to buy and more importantly where not to buy from? GSF have either side for about £75 a side.
