Ive been trying to work out why my heaters arnt working, there is noise and you can almost feel heat from the vents but no solid air flowing.

Took my inlet manifold off today to fix another problem and found that there appeared to be a pipe missing that attaches to the large one for the manifold.

Sorry I'm a bit of a n00b.

Heres a link... Its by the yellow connecter

Does there need to be a pipe from this to the back of my dash? I'm asking now so I know if I need to order anything.

LOL thats the airbox.

does you engine warm up nice and quickly?

may just need to bleed the cooling system, there's a bleed point on the pipes where they meet the matrix at the bulkhead

So there doesnt need to be a pipe connecting to that??? Oh jeez..

I know the big one goes to the manifold. Just can you see the opening right next to the yellow connector. Theres nothing on it?

^^ A better idea of what I'm on about!

Yeah it all warms up nice and easy. So it could just be as simple as that? Shouldnt I feel air coming out regardless as there is fans blowing the air out? Or does it somehow rely on coolant for airflow?

It does need bleeding just havnnt got round to it yet. I thought there were electric fans that would blow the air out. Surly if theyre still working (You can hear them) then there should be airflow regardless if its cool or not?

Negative. So you recon just bleeding the system completely should get the heaters working? If not I'm going to rip out the dash tomorrow and maybe theres a loose pipe somewhere..
