Hi guys,

I have some knocking noise coming from the strut area on my diesel shitbox. I have some built up gti6 struts with dampers, springs and top mounts. Can I just bung these on the diesel?

I imagine it should be the same, just not sure on ride height etc.

Any advice/input appreciated Smile

Yes you can, but it will ride quite a bit higher as the XUD is loads lighter than the GTi6 lump.
Eibach -30mm GTi6 springs gave about the same ride height as normal on a dTurbo and yours is lighter again.

Sounds like a plan Yes

Just need to find some spring compressors.

I have eibachs and b4 dampers on the Dturbo and it's not noticeably different to the 6 that has identical setup.
