Hi,

Phase1 Dturbo the boot mechanism has stopped working, where by the button just stays stuck in when ive pushed it and the boot wont open and have to prise it back out again. Im guessing the lock has had it might try filling it with WD40 though first.

Will any boot lock be OK from a phase1 if i do have to replace it?

Thanks

i would have thought that wd40 was good as a water dispersant and penetrating oil but 3 in 1 would be a better lubricant but it might be a good idea

Dismantle it and see if something is broken, if not lube with white lithium grease (available in spray cans in 3-in-1 brand) or similar.
