OE Pug ones seem to be the choice on here - pattern ones disintegrate by all accounts and uprated/Group N ones increase vibration apparently. Smile

Don't get me wrong it's quick, probably doesn't help that it's in a standard car at the mo, handles ok but Jesus I have to brake early! No uprated diff either :-(

Shock

Dude... seriously, uprate your brakes quick sharp. Standard brakes are good but I wouldn't drive a high boost car with them No

I got caught out a couple of times shortly after I did the low boost conversion so drove sensibly until I managed to sort brakes and bigger wheels. That took months...

Patience is the key Thumbs up

Don't know how anyone could be bored with high boost Tbh, it is simply awesome, I find for instance for overtaking I used to drop into third when I was low boost and the car flew, now with high boost I just drop into fourth and is just as quick if not quicker than when I used to drop it into third on low boost, If I drop it into third now while overtaking then the thing just goes mental and you quickly have to change up to fourth by which time you are doing 110 which is way to fast for a country lane and the overtaken car has well gone! Crazy

As for engine mounts I have tried a few combinations and a bit of trial and error, I have settled on a well chocked standard top engine mount, a group N genuine Peugeot sport gearbox mount and a Powerflex lower mount, I did try a Baker lower engine mount but did not like the vibration although the gearchange was excellent. The Powerflex mount gets a bad press on here but I have had mine when the car was standard, with low and now high boost and it has been fine and never split Dunno

Only thing I am not happy with is the clutch, I fitted a Helix paddle clutch with a Sachs cover and although it works fine it gets on my tits Tbh, its great on a run but in traffic and city centres it annoys me, I want the car to be as nice to drive as possible and as I'm getting on a bit going back to standard this weekend,

Also got a Quaiffe Diff fitted which I cant fault Thumbs up

Good thread by the way Thumbs up , better than the usual b*tching as of late Roll eyes
