Long time no visit... I signed up years ago!

Anyway, eventually got a 306.

Sadly its a 16v XSi, but i've just fitted some GTi6 manifolds to it, so its getting there

Having problems with the map sensor though, need to know if the gti6 one is different wiring to the XSi one.

Plug fits on sensor, but:

With the map sensor plugged in, the car will idle perfectly, but as soon as the accelerator is pressed, the engine instantly dies.
With the map sensor unplugged, it will idle rough as hell, but will rev happy all the way to redline.

Just wondering if anybody could help??
