I've been looking round for some winter tyres and seen a lot of 195 65 15's on ebay, but will these fit on a 306? Rear is standard height, front is slightly lowered.________________________________________ Spanner Monkeys Monkey SpannerForum Search Clicky |

as a rough guide 195 55 R15 will have a sidewall height of 107mm (depending on tyre pattern etc)195 65 R15 will have a sidewall height of 126mm difference being 19mm, so half that will give you a 9.5mm car raise and an extra 9.5mm up in the arches. so on thats theory should fit, as the sidewall number is a percentage of the width ie 65% of 195 ________________________________________ 230 hp 2.1 16v XU 205 rallye on jenveys Project thread here309 3dr K20 Type R |

65 profiles look absolutely huge up against 55s. I recently had a set of c5 steelies with 65 profiles and there was no way there were going to fit!________________________________________ team: Stealth |

i got a set of second hand cyclones that came off of an HDI and they were 195/65/15'sso i would assume they would fit. if its only 9.5mm its going to add on, judging by my arches they would definately fit ________________________________________ 1997 blaze GTI-6 bought january '11 £800 Spend to date on parts £827.88 |

I did a quick space check with my 20mm kneeling pad and they would fit in, I'd just have to not drive over any bumps thanks eddiebeano, I used a different tyre calculator but it didn't make the new tyres look as big as those ________________________________________ Spanner Monkeys Monkey SpannerForum Search Clicky |
