Since my 306maxi cost much money to build, i started to make a budget fun car. I have an 306 xr 1.6l this have by now had several engines, first it got my old 306maxi engine a 306XSI 2l 8v then it felt little weak so i fitted a 406Mi16 158hp with mega squirt engine management, the the bottom end start making a nasty noise. Now i have fitted the 306 S16 2l 16v. the front and rear suspension are of course fron S16 too. The other day i fell for the temptation to buy a second Maxi kit.... and now wondering if i should make me a 306 S16 maxi estate ... LOL

What do you guy think about this? is it worth it ? Have anyone heard of others who have made this?
I have been googleing this but found nothing on maxi estat og S16 estat Smile

This is what happens when you have too much parts laying around gathring dust.

Gatebil ?? what do you mean by that? its going to be used as my everyday car. We have trackday events that are called Gatebil, but i dont care too much for this.. if you dont have a RWD or 4wd with 800hp+++ then your not of any interest to them. We made a 205gti with a T16 engine with some mods of course, it put out around 440hp on the wheel.. and still they didnt want it to run on the track cos it wasnt as fun to watch as a RWD car..

OK, the challenge is to make an 800hp, 4WD, 306 Dimma estate LOL

If you have the time to put the Dimma kit on your car it would be unique, just not sure how the rear estate quarters would fit in with the body kit.

I have a friend who are building fiberglass boats Wink so the extention of the rear panels was not a big deal he said. In a way i just feel like building something no one has done befor, and since i dont find anything about this in google then hmmm maybe its time.. Even 306 S16 estat i dont find..

Peugeot called the 306 a GTi in the UK where that name has more prestige, and S16 elsewhere in Europe as it has a longer tradition. There was one GTi6 estate here, but very rarely seen

EDIT, just read page 2 of the thread, that one was a Diesel

Maxxi estate FTW, would need to use the cabby kit and make the rear door section seperate to the quarter.

I know about the rear panel and the doors, thats why my boat building friend is in on this project. But building 2 maxi`s at the same time, Maybe its little too much.

Definatly be interesting to see a dimma estate. As said above weve seen a gti6 estate which was gorgeous. Is your china dimma a real kit and the bumper an ecosse one or is it all a ecosse one?

This is a Ibher Design Ica wide kit, But its one of the best i have seen so far beside Dimma. It has even the orginal stamp from PSA on the front wings. the rear panels have 100% fitment.. Its not a china I`m afraid but the Sigma bleu. The car will get a lynx highboost engine when its finished. Bits from Martin has been bought sometime ago so i can use wheels with et17 instead of et-38

The estate is a budget racer.. so it has so far just been put together by leftover parts i had in the barn..
Breaks from Fletch old car will be mounted soon.
