This one blew me away! I think this is a 5 speed S16 as it sounds to have quite a tall 5th gear.

Just typed in s16 to youtube to find a lot more vids of gti6's due to them being called s16 in europe. This one blew me away! I think this is a 5 speed S16 as it sounds to have quite a tall 5th gear. click here ________________________________________ |

I counted the gear changes and think you might be right Matt. There is a big difference in the ratio between 3rd and fourth which makes me think its not a bv6. ________________________________________ |

This is not a 6, its an early S16. you can see it on the dashboard. The passanger airbag are missing In scandinavia we have like you the GTI-6. The first 2l 16v ph1 are called S16. believe that Germany, Belgium, and some other country our 6 are named S16 instead. ________________________________________ LeaderPeugeot Sport Club OF Norway |

Cool, my car is a french import and has an S16 plate on the underside of the bonnet when you lift it up. Its a 6 engine so Im guessing they've just named it an s16? |
