+1 Yes

Although, it would make total sense for the forum to go that way I think, I just have no use to justifying paying the cash if it does as no 6 to worry about anymore. Would miss the banter though, not enough to make me pay though lol!

I think the confusion here is the text you get when reporting a thread which I just noticed.

quote:
Thank you for reporting abuse. This thread will be monitored by the Admin team and will be dealt with accordingly

Which would kind of imply that it would be monitored by the Admin team and be dealt with accordingly...

Ive just posted elsewhere but might as well chuck it here too - Im admin on SXOC.com, which is a bit busier - in Q4 2010 we got 19,919,810 visits and had over 1200 paid up members, never mind the guests

From what Ive seen here this could be a most excellent forum but it needs a bit of moderation - we have a team of about 20 that look after the board, but if reported posts are used right then probably no more than 5 could stay on top of stuff here. A lot of threads descend into crap, some start off as crap and its starting to become difficult to pick through to get to what you want, which is a shame as theres a lot of good content here.
A search new posts button would be awesome as well and I think youd find the crap stuff would get picked up a lot quicker that way too Smile

Give me a shout if youd like any more info on how we are set up, I like to think we run pretty smoothly these days Smile

if it wasnt for the useless threads and shite users (like myself) i reacon half of you lot would get bored. Smile

i can think of a simple test to weed out the "dickheads" as it were, have a tick box option in personal details saying "lexus lights owned"

and if they tick it, instant ban Razz
