Hi, I just cleaned my icv out today, performed the ecu reset, but now when the ignition is turned on the fuel pump continues to prime itself where as before it would stop after 4 seconds or so. Any ideas? I noticed it ran slightly lumpy after the second time I started it up.Ed ________________________________________ team: Stealth |

Mine does this sometimes, I don't think it's anything to worry about. The fuel pump is always on when driving anyway even if not needed, it just returns unused fuel to the tank. Having the pump running too long won't cause any undue pressure or anything, never figured out why mine does it sometimes though. ________________________________________ Membership expiring soon, get in contact on our new little forum project. |

ok well that's somewhat of a relief. I just went outside to try it again, and now it primes for around 1-2 seconds whereas before it would be about 4-5. I think i might have put a crack in the inlet rubbers when I twisted the icv breather out of the way, explaining the lumpy idle. good excuse to upgrade I suppose! Cheers!________________________________________ team: Stealth |

Since it has been supercharged, I don't think it has done it ________________________________________ Chris1999 China Gti6 Supercharged [Fun car] >>Project Thread<< 2000 Bianca 306 Diesel [Work runabout] |
