Ha! I only ever slow right down when someone sits on my arse, and try to take up a bit more space on the road, much more fun!

How about one of these

Someone of here took a cracking vid with it, just by wedging it under their passenger headrest!

My cam cost £12 delivered from ebay (You can get it cheaper if you buy it without the cable and cd) The picture isn't bad but the sound goes quiet with loud noise then comes back slowly. Check my Vid bellow

Passengers side visor with some tape, lol. The only small problem is its quite hard to get the camera straight as you cant see what the camera see's as theres no screen obviously. But if you have a quick look at the camera from the outside you can usually get it spot on. As you can see in my vid its slightly facing left. But my old mans one was spot on when I had a look from outside.

Ebay Clicky

Thats the one but search on ebay a bit more, theres one on there without the cable and cd for cheaper. The cable to charge it and transfer vids to you computer is just a mini usb - usb cable, which you must have lying around for other things.

Mine has a 8gb card and I have 1 vid with 42mins and 1 vid with 26mins The 2 vids have used up 3.13gb of memory so your looking at about 2 hours 40mins of recording time at a guess

These really intrigue me, for a couple of quid it's worth a punt.

It's worth pointing out, that the one above by Lurch isn't 720p, but is a much wider angle lense - there are some out there now which are 720p

The one that looks like a key ring comes in several different varieties despite all looking the same do be specific about which one to buy.

I've just been looking at some youtube vid reviews of them, a good one to check out is the reviews by 'Techmoan' - does good comparisons, and also points out which of the key ring cams are better than others?

Just use your mobile phone if you've got a semi decent one...

Jam the phone between the top of the passenger seat and the support/headrest

I've had two of the cheap ebay jobbies, first one was great picture and sound until i dropped it, now it decides when it wants to work so i bought a second one (i think from a different seller so probably a different variety in same case) and the video is fine, but the sound isnt as good.

Both go silent for a few seconds after the car backfires.

I'll search through my ebay history and put some vid links up if you want me to?

Whats the sound like on your gopro?
Every video i've seen has amazing video quality but the sound always lets it down.
