Reminds me of my old '2. Was built up by me and did trackdays back in 1998/1999, before I sold it to some knob jockey who wrote it of jumping a red light - bas**rd.

Mine was a 1900cvh on twin webber 45's, race cam, BVH, lightened and balanced, solid lifters, it was approx 150bhp but it didnt weigh a lot. Biggest problem back then was brakes, especially under the 13" RS 7 spokes (genuine RS accessory wheels YAY!)

My old man has bought one a month ago.......been in the RS Owners club for years, it's spotless! The twin choke is brilliant!

This is my old XR2.

Was running a 1.6 Rebuilt Fiesta RS Turbo Engine and a Escort T3 Stage 2 Turbo, It was rapid. Wheel Spin!!!!
Wish I had kept it, I did all the work my self, was a great laugh.
