This afternoon I undertook some repairs.

Rear shocks. Rear discs and pads. Front shocks and new springs, top mounts and strut brace. New bottom balljoints and power flex bushes. Front discs and pads, Brake bleed and oil change.

Easy. Afternoons work... 1pm to 5pm.

All done except the power flex bushes. What the f*ck? They are seriously shit to fit. Maybe I was running out of time but no matter how much I pressed them and tryed my best to fit them their not having it.

Their pressed into the lower arm but I can't get them into the captive part of the car? They stand to proud/to thick to go in? Much struggle later and time running out I have decided to f*ck them off and get some standard OE equipment which I have on the shelf ready in GSF tomorrow morning. Maybe I shouldn't have gone on the p*ss tonight... Smile

Cars in work. Now I need to get up early and WALK to work with new arms under MY arms ready to fit.

I love my 6. Just as much as the bird that's brushing her teeth at the min... Or is that lust Roll eyes

You're going to need pics to explain what you're on about, can't picture it.

You have two options

1.Bend the subframe captive bit outwards, place wishbone in with horrible, horrible bushes and tighten to squeeze it all together.

2.Buy OE.

Buy OE Smile

All done. Very happy. Iv fitted second hand ebach springs with bilstein b4 shocks. I'm guessing the drop at the front is 30mm. The springs I'v removed are red, unbranded and I pressume 40mm or 60mm which means now unfortunately the rear looks too low, which means a torsion bar adjustment at a later date to raise the back up.
I'll probably wait until I get some solid mounts!
