Over the past few years the 6 has been neglected, due to personal stuff. But all is good now so I decided to try find some form of love life. How ever after dating a few different girls, I decided it was to much hassle and too expensive. So the time, effort and cash went in to the 6. After repairing the whole exhaust system, changing the tyres and some suspension components. Repairing the power steering, cleaning the car and various other parts, it was time (about lunch time today) to take the car for a spin.
Well my god, the sound, the feel, the drama, the seats, the sleeper looks, the effort the engine puts in!
I fell back in love. Did i mention the sound??

Now i know its not the fastest or best handling hatch about these days but for the value and for what it is ( a french 2 ltr no tricks bucket) its fantastic. And IMO you dont get the same sort of 'drama' in some of the new hot hatches.

Just the paint work and clutch to do. What to do after that is the question tho... Ninja
(asides from getting a membership on here Thumbs up )

BTW changing the power steering ram pipes (the 2 wee ones) and getting the cat/ manifold joint bolts out are nightmare jobs when you've just got the car jacked up.

She can be a cruel mistress, dont get any ideas about dating some other hot hatches Wink

I had a friend who used to have a sporty Porsche, which he said you just had to put petrol in and go. He changed it for an old Ferrarri, which seemed to spend more time in the garage then on the road, but he didn't care, as he said owning and driving it was l ike having a torrid affair Yes

The 306 is more like a cheeky French tart Love
