Does anyone who has fitted jenvey throttle bodies, or know about them know if you have to remove the ac pump and relocate the power steering pump into its place.

Am planning on having trumpets only, no air box so from what i can make out this should not be an issue.

Anything to spread some light on this would be much appriciated.

Thanks.

pretty sure the power steering pump can be left fitted in its normal place. although power steerings for gays LOL

not running an air filter is imo worse than not running a airfilter on a standard engine, wouldnt do that would you? grit, bugs, flies anything like that will go directly into the engine. for £150 just buy a backplate and ITG filter Thumbs up

Well that's a relief, I didn't really want to be messing around moving pumps and the such...

Will defiantly have a think about the back box and filter, main reason I wasn't going to run one was due to the fact of having to move the pas pump.

I am a little way off that stage yet anyway, im not making a start till Sunday. And then I don't no how much will get done due the heavy work load atm.

Dont be a lazy w*nker, move the pump so you can get a decent air filter/ cold feed box setup in there, running with open trumpets is just asking for a wrecked engine.

To move the pump could i use the rallye setup or would i have to modify it myself?

What would you suggest... A filter box or exposed filters that slid over the trumpets?

Project is costing more than i thought already so id rather make a proper job of it, and like you say not have to spend more to fix a knackered engine..

a lighter factory setup is the early XU10 non aircon setup from cars like the S16, will need a few bits on the sump grinding down but it gives a lot more space.
