Im a Newby and Im having an affair with my 6! It touches parts the MRS will never get close, for the £ anyhow :-) What sensible mods are recommended?

Well i have spent £4000 on it so far, cash flow not really a big problem but how far can i go?

welcome to the club lol

get some pics up

there is not an awfull lot you can do to the engine to make it better without spending £££'s on itb/turbo or supercharger. and if you ever plan to do the later two upgraded suspension and brakes and it will be perfect.

strip it out? lol this makes a fair bit of differnece.

has the car got any mods already? or is it completely standard?

Holy crap! How much are we looking at and how, something i can do on the drive or a garage job? Also what are the realistic BHP gains, also would the power be useable ?

And welcome to the site. Before you start putting more power through the car, I would suggest looking first at Suspension, Brake upgrades then a Low Boost Supercharger to start? or Jump straight to High Boost. Speak to Rich_W on the supercharger front.Thumbs up

low boost 240bhp ish after remap,rich w who s on here does the kits and will fit them aswell prob looking at 4k budget or do it yourself for 3.5k as a very rough estimate

nope. my blueflame decat system was quieter than the longlife i had and the mongoose with Hoffman sports cat i have now

I did it today. Just sign up, takes 1 min. Don't pay anything just use the free one to start. Upload your photos. Click on your picture. It opens up large in a new page and you can click the image link button and it copy's your picture. Then on you next post paste it in. Give it a go Smile

I have had the car for 3 years now, it was totally standard, i also had a recon engine fitted just after the purchase of £1250 :-)

3 years . I thought you had just bought it and managed to spend £4k staright away without buying a SC. That would have to have been a very special 6
