yes i know that but i need the flat tops for the valves to clear. Btw i'm putting a gti6 head onto the 8v turbo bottom end and correct me if i'm wrong but my dished pistons are not suitableBefore anyone shouts out 'forged' this that and the next, its a budget project so i can play about with megasquirt and my cossie T3. Not too fussed if it all goes bang, but would feel better with the flat tops unless anyone can advise me otherwise Cheers again guys |

Looking for around 220 bhp, iv'e done the 8v turbo thing, i want a better spread of power across more of the rev range. i have a vgc complete 6 engine with perfect bores that came from a 2002 xsara vts also have a good condition TCT engine with factory uprated pistons and rods but dished pistons that sit higher up the bore ...what do i do, 6 engine with decomp plate, machine my TCT dished pistons or look out for a set of RGY flat tops??? cheers PS i know this is in the wrong section! |
