you'll also find it called TFR, fraffic film remover, truck wash ois often a rather stronger version, certainly not what i'd use on any paintwork.....

Even TFR can stain paintwork if you apply it too strongly or allow it to dry on. Use sparingly Wink

used tfr many times on my 306 to get lots of crap off. wash coaches with it! its good but when used in the right manner. it's for degreasing and removing stubborn stuff, not for just washing your car with. itll eat your paint if you arent careful. get some "smart wheels", that's a good one

should be fine. great if you use a proper 150degree karcher steam cleaner, brings anything up like new. "reconditioned" parts anyone? LOL

Funny, I used Gunk when I first cleaned my engine bay and it came out great! Just wiped it all over, left a few minutes, agitated with a brush and then rinsed off, everything came up great!

I use this, it's great on alloys and engine bays, dilute it with water to make 25liters and than spray it on, use a pressure washer to get it off for better results. it doesnt harm your paint if oversprayed but i wouldnt use it to wash the whole car with tho. We use it on tractors and combines too and it brings them up like new.

clicky

TFR is great stuff but it is acidic(goes without saying really Roll eyes), as daveyboy says use sparingly!

Edit: Not so much of a worry on wheels, great for removing brake dust/grime.

Nice! I'll be cleaning my underbody soon. I'm doing the rear mounts just now so it's back end is up in the air with exhaust and spare wheel off. I'll give it a good scrub with Surfex HD followed by a pressure wash and then underseal the car with some Bilt & Hamber Dynax stuff.
