I attempted a club calender on my site a few years ago................ oh the strees involved lolThe way i'd decided to do it (well in advance and well planned) January 2009 i set a pic of the month comp where i asked members to submit a decent pic of their car looking clean with a good back ground etc etc etc basically this will potencially be a picture that other members will have to look at for up to 31 days, start of the month i'd give a 2-3 week window for every one to submit a pic then for 1 week members voted for their favourite image, the winning image would be January pic on 2010 club calender and so on through each month, in theory the idea sort of works but in reality i was bombarded with images of dirty rusty french shit abandoned on driveways, but once it was up and running members could see what sort of image was winning and were getting better pics in, down side was my site had a small member base so by August every regular member had a month but i think on a larger club such as this place it would work great its just the voting/choosing part do you ask for January to be a white Rallye February a Phase 1 6 March etc etc or get 12 306 pics in I was going to use vista print for mine iirc they were going to charge about £6-8 per calender i'd be willing to help out if there was enough interest in making this a reality but we'd have to move quickly to get pics in picked etc etc ________________________________________ All South Wales Members Click HereTeam Supercharged Black RALLYE (Click Here for Build Project) MY EBAY ITEMS 07943066306 |

SimonJames. Talking sense and Cheers for also lending help and advice but sadly can't see it happening this year. Maybe we should start pic of the month again over 2012 but starting November or December this year. Cheers m306. Love the banter too I'm hoping someone can take the reins. But from what SimonJames has mentioned I think it might be best to give 2012 a miss now as it'll only be rushed and have error's or just not be very good. If we start pic of the month from say November 2011. Do it until October 2012, we can then compile a good calendar using 12 months for 2013. What do you all recogn? Even then we'll still need a board who help run "pic of the month" and then work on the 2013 calendar.....jeez that sounds ages away. Cant believe its 2012 nearl! Where's this year gone! ________________________________________ JAMMA "M44YHW" MAYHEWLOSE WEIGHT NOW - ASK ME HOW - NUTRI-FIX GTi6 LPG, The best of both worlds! 2006: 1997 R reg 306 1.4 Miami - Diablo Red - DEAD 2007: 1999 V reg 306 1.4 Meridian - Diablo Red - SOLD 2007-09: 1998 S reg 306 GTi6 - Diablo Red - DEAD 2009-10: 1998 R reg Corsa 1.2 - Blue - SOLD 2010-13: 2001 Y reg 306 GTi6 LPG - Diablo Red - DEAD 2013 - 2013: 2000 X reg GTi6 LPG - Moonstone Blue - DEAD 2013 - current: 2001 X reg GTi6 LPG - Diablo Red ]FOR SALE[/b] "I LIVE FOR THE 306" |

Hi guys, just seen this thread.I actually have some good news, my girlfriends dad actually owns a large printing company and I had a word with him about this. As I currently am between graduating and starting my job I have nothing better to do than sort this out. All calendar designing can be done in house and proofs can be posted on here for approval. Mabe if we just run a tight ship, i.e 1 week for entries, 1 week for voting then there is no reason why this can't be easily achieved. By me working in the office directly I can crack the whip! Haha. Let me know what you think, mabe a moderator could get a thread for entries stickies as to get maximum Attention in the voting period, mabe even a private message to all members inviting them to apply? Top 12 voted entries make the calendar, end of, then there is no squabbling? Anyway, let me know, you won't be dissapoonted i can assure you, it would also be possible to run different sizes no problem either, just scaled from a5,4,3 (even 2,1,0 if you are super keen!)
