How trustworthy is Richard woods? (Pugplus). I've bought and engine and paid for delivery but as soon as he got my money he has gone very quiet I've asked him to conform my address but its like he is dodging the subject when he seldomly gets in touch. I've spoke to my girlfriends father who is quite high up in tayside police and he even thinks it's odd. He say he can do something but is gonna see how it turns out. What do you guys think?

Is that "something" going to be mentioning him to Inland Revenue by any chance? Laugh

Have a search mate, plenty of threads about him. Am sure he's genuine enough but his customer service is questionable.

Be warned, this will get about 50 replies in a short space of time, its like opening a can of worms...

When did you pay, out of interest? Think his record was about 4 months for a gearbox!

Doh Here we go again. This isn't the first time pugplus has been flagged for seemingly dodgy dealing, but I have read through many of these kinds of threads and he always seems to get the part out... Eventually. I wouldn't worry yourself about it too much, he is genuine but I know it can be frustrating waiting for stuff.

Welcome to the club. That's pretty much everyone's issue.

Check his for sale threads, there's an email address on them and his mobile number's kicking about too. YHPM Wink

Hi all, before anyone jumps in this is only because i didn't work this weekend so he couldn't get in contact with me, i have not been dodging anyone.

Hi Brian, as explained on thursday because you paid for delivery at 8:32 pm it was too late for me to arrange a courier with the company i use so i then had to arrange it for collection on friday which was fine until you said about the address so because i wasn't there all day friday and couldn't confirm the address i just had to get the collection canceled until which i was hoping was going to be today but it will have to be collected tomorrow now as i'm just waiting for you to confirm the address.

I totally understand that you may think just because i cannot get hold of me i may rip you off but i'm not like that at all im an honest person. I don't work everyday all day and its nice sometimes especially when its nice weather and i have birthdays to go to just to leave the phone for the weekend and not have to answer so many calls about parts.

As said please confirm your address so i can get the engine to you as its sat in the stores waiting.

Many thanks,richard.

ERM.. i think if you'd bought from me on Thursday night and opened a thread like this on the Sunday i'd make the delivery slower Smile

At the end of the day Pugplus is a trader therefore its like a business Mon-Fri hours so your not going to get hold of him till Mon when work re starts i think on this occasion you need to give a chance to deliver
