I'm going to be changing the rear bushes tomorrow. Do any brake lines need disconnecting before lowering the axle? I'll be lowering the axle just enough to get the bushes out, but I won't be taking it to the floor. ________________________________________ Team Diesel |

IIRC you should be able to unclip the pipes from under the car which should give you enough flex to drop the axle enough to change the mounts.Just be careful not to drop it ![]() ________________________________________ Membership expiring soon, get in contact on our new little forum project. |

Yes it can be done without disconnecting anything if you're careful and the brake lines are not corroded/damaged.________________________________________ Car#1 306 HDi Meridian 5door, 133Bhp, 225lb.ft Ecosse R/R 20/3/05Car#2 306 1.4 3door track car with Gti6 power. 167Bhp, 134lb.ft Ecosse R/R 21/10/07 Car#3 Grand Scenic 1.9DCi (Expanding!) family mover. |
