Someone will ask how much you want it lowered, you'll say 70mm, ridicule will ensue.Would also be handy to know how much you'd like to spend, which coilovers you're after, etc etc. What have you currently got? Are all your bushes in good nick? All these things need considering ________________________________________ Membership expiring soon, get in contact on our new little forum project. |

Okay, that's what I suspected you'd say. Firstly, you do not need coilovers to lower your car - you can do it with springs alone. Lower, stiffer, good quality springs will improve the handling far more than cheap nasty coilovers, which is all you'll get for £300 tbh. There really is very little need for expensive suspension on a 1.4, they're light and quite frankly don't have the power to require £1k suspension setups. I'd get yourself some decent Eibach springs on the front, get the back lowered and then get all the bushes replaced with the leftover money. That'll land you with a much better setup than just bolting on some coilovers and expecting an improvement ________________________________________ Membership expiring soon, get in contact on our new little forum project. |

Save your cash till you can afford to buy a 306 which has at least got an XU engine in it then start worring about handling ________________________________________ All South Wales Members Click HereTeam Supercharged Black RALLYE ™ (Click Here for Build Project) MY EBAY ITEMS 07943066306 |

Springs I don't know the price, but Eibach are pretty well thought of - I'd go for them. Replace your bushes with new but standard items, and get the rear lowered. That will be more than enough handling for a 1.4, then as everyone knows - what Simon Says goes. It's simply not worth spending more than that, save your money. ________________________________________ Membership expiring soon, get in contact on our new little forum project. |

ast's ftwgot mine dfor £300 though tbh, I wouldnt go for any coilover that costs less than £800 or more, decent standard diameter springs on bilsteins or koni's will suffice, both are around the £450 mark afaik. ________________________________________ need a part number? get on here - http://public.servicebox.peugeot.comBring on the Trumpets. |
