aaaaaaaaaaaah!!! oke

Must be a absolute b**ch to paint those wheels...

Did you put on the decals on the brembos?

if not, maybe you can do the same i did, i used another color for the logo, looks a bit more special then everything in one color.

Looking forward on seeing pics mate!

Yeah paul the spokes are a b**ch on these wheels, still look ok from a distance Smile

So finally got everything for the car yesterday, now 2 days to work on it so fingercrossed everything will fit

Got my mocal cooler and fitting kit.opped for a 16 row as people on here were saying the 13's did nt quite cut it

Got the battery relocation stuff from swampy, looks pretty tidy.wait see how its goes though Whistle

Brwmbo's are done now well maybe 1 more coat of laquer, got the stickers from ebay but feel pretty good quality

Can't wait to get them on tomorrow Big grin

SEATS...... finally got here, very very happy not that much narrow that the cobra's but comfty an side support is miles better.
Going have lots of fun making them fit the frames Angry

All the bits ready to go to carls

Also had a play around with the cobra base mounts and my sparco side mounts

May need to cut/weld them but I did a quick measure and they don't look like too much hassle

Looks great Sam

but youll need to spray more laquer, on the pics i can see very little gloss, that means you need to be way more wett laquering them,

turn your head sideways and look at what your spraying and the final coats you need to be @ not more then 15 cm from the to spray object.
If you go further away you wont be getting an even nice thick layer of wet, but a lot of mist wich causes not a shiny object.

trust me when there are 2 coats of laquer you can apply thicker and much wetter coats

for example i almost used one can for one caliper! i know mine are 2 the size of the normal brembos.

Thanks for all the tips and advice paul, I try and do my bits and bob up to a presentable standard.

Right today was the first of 2 days at carls so today was doing all the engine bits and bobs.
We started on the cooler witch was a a b**ch to mount.we sat it inside the spare fan slot, pipes where abit long as got happy with the cable ties, put on the trs tow strap and replaced the rallye blank so nice and even now Smile

Drove it back home and warms up nicely.was a afraid I went OTT on getting a 16 row.

Then we moved the battery to the boot and ran the other cables into the fuse box

Started the morning like this :

Covers on and carl work some magic on the cam carriers

Finished like this

More bits on tomorrow and engine cleaning

Good progress.

Are you going to remove all the sound deadening on the floors too? Bit of a chore but it all adds up!

Thanks guys, paul I've autosoled the crap out of the rockers now so they're got even more bling

Day 2

The brakes are on and bloody hell they close.

May attempt to clean it sometime aswell

Seat, god they where a pig! Think sparco mounts don't like magnum seat one bit.great work by carl really push him to the edge with these but they really are great seat and great driving postion now.my foot placement is spot on now just need to either invest in a dished wheel or a 50 mm spacer to make it spot on.

DONT drive it anymore than you have to mate, your taking a big risk. Get it replaced ASAP.
How do you find the brembos? seeing them in red makes me wish i had kept them

My brembos squelled like a b**ch, even with the tarox g 88 discs and ds 2000 pads which was told would stop it.

Have changed to the Renault sport 225 calipers with 310 bells and rotors, and get no sweal what so ever....

Could be something to do with how they are mounted? Dunno.

I do like the shiny cam covers!!

Its so weird they never squel in reserve Unsure I've heard people even mounting them upside down and it did nt work.personally it does nt bother me to much atm as the overall performance/look out ways to squel.

I was thinking about cut some groves into some disks like ben did but I've heard that is only a temporary fix.

That weird you say yours squelled with g 88, do you now if anybody else had the g 88 problem

£246 a set and they still squelled I'd be prettty fuked off Angry

i suppose alot of it is down to the bedding in procedure, also so any people don't bother to wipe off the oily protective coating prior to fitting which will contaminate the pads
