There's nothing wrong with the brakes on the Mk1. The problem with more with the application of the brakes and the lack of heel and toe. The engine's a 1.8 8v, heavily worked though with twin 45's. |

Looked like very clean racing from watching what i could in the assembly area, was surprised at just how small the grid was though as i assume there were various classes all racing together?Looks like you managed to dodge the rain too, unlike us after the restart in the second race following a red flag. Should have come over and said hello but forgot ________________________________________ Seat Leon Cupra FR / 306 GTI6 / Breaking 205 GTI6 / Caterham 7 / Mercedes Sprinter 311CDI LWB Sold: Fisher Fury - Laguna DCI Estate - P1 306 XSI - E30 BMW 325i Baur Convertible - Daihatsu Fourtack - Suzuki GSXR600 - 205 Rallye |

Doh! Yes it was a very small grid, a few of our regulars were unable to make it due to other commitments, we normally have 19ish on a grid.Didn't realise that's who you were racing with, we watched a couple of the races from the banking near the assembly area, it looked clean enough and very well matched groups from where we were. I was disappointed that it didn't rain, it was wet in Qual hence me getting P3 and because it was dry that didn't last very long. That was my first visit to Pembrey, and I really enjoyed it, we're already talking of going back next year How did you get on? |
