Can the standard cams on a gti6 be adjusted to enhance performance? If yes what is the gain and what direction should it be positioned?

Yes, to put it simply, as long as they've not been adjusted before or you'll end up teary eyed.I advanced my inlet cam by 4 degrees and it free'd up some mid range torque, not an exact science though as depends how it was last timed up. Just be careful as advancing cams can end in smashed valves, do it at your own risk! ________________________________________ Bye bye Sundance Kid |
