before you bite, I can't find the search function on this new site layout...

Does the gti6 engine (16v) have mechanical or hydraulic lifters?

I would expect hydraulic but as it has a raised rev limit over the other 2litre xsi lump, I'm not so sure.

Need to get my head skimmed so I want me valves out but don't reaaaally wanna have to re-shim them
