Right i have real bad shaking through the steering wheel ( as if the wheels were not balanced properly)

Now i have had the cv done as the boot kept popping off therefore may have dried out, but still have the problem, Im now starting to think it maybe drive shaft, or wheel bearing, but i have no wheel baring noises :s

Any help would be grate before i go out and buy shafts and bearing.

lowered 55mm ish on race land shocks starting to wonder if they are responsible, Think i am going to change them aswell

like you say - likely cause is wheel balancing! Are you running Cyclones? Notoroiously poorly balanced

Not wheel balance as its slowly getting worse,

i had my black clones on and it was doing it changed to my silver ones, still doing yet,

BUT my black clones are now on my dt and they are perfect not even a tiny wiggle of the steering wheel

Any movement in the wheels when they are off the ground? Track rod ends and balljoints ok?

Which side CV? Is the middle joint on the drivers side ok?

The intermediate shaft bearing could have been buggered by the CV going. That housing can come loose from the engine too. There will be some movement in line with the engine (push/pull) as they float, but see if you can twist it by hand.

Could also be the clip holding the new CV on has failed and its coming loose from the shaft (had that before). I'd check that shaft.

Damping wear would show up mostly when you hit a bump, not all the time. Especially after some driving as the shock oil has gotten hot and stops working as well. (Hence don't use rubbish dampers)
