im still finding numerous little things wrong with my gti Sad

new front sub frame, new anti roll bar, new rear suspension, new gear linkgae, new track rod ends etc etc

one niggle i found today was my cluth pedal missing some linkage that went onto a ball joint on one end and a bar at the other :s

what should be there, what does it do?

my cluth feels pretty heavy and squeaky/creaky could this missing item make it lighter?

there was an assister spring there fro the factory, though there was a recall note to remove them sas they caused issues with the self adjusting cables

ORLY! Handy to know as the one on my rallye was found in pieces when i changed the cable.
