has anyone got any ideas where the voltage stabiliser for the temperture gauge is on my beloved gti-6

Not sure if there is one to be honest, but if there is it will be in the instrument cluster.

thanks. i got a problem with the temperture gauge fluctuating manically while driving. its had new rad and stat. ive also replaced all the switches in the stat housing. just had the water pump out and that is like new too. you got any ideas?
