Just changed the rear beam on the Rallye a couple of days ago and the handbrake light has been on since. I thought it might have been dodgy ABS sensors on the new beam but the ABS seems to be working fine from a little test this morning.Brake fluid is all topped up too. Any ideas? ________________________________________ '01 Astor Grey GTi6'99 Cherry Rallye |

Rear beam has nothing to do with hand brake light - its activated by the switch under the hand brake lever |

I'll have a look at the switch. Does the centre console have to come out to get access to it?________________________________________ '01 Astor Grey GTi6'99 Cherry Rallye |

Hand brake light will either be low brake fluid or the switch under the lever itself.Carl ________________________________________ C.G.Cars of Leicester, Peugeot/Citroen/Renault specialist Tel: 01162 624498/07799 405184 WWW.CGCARSLEICESTER.CO.UK36 narborough road south, Leicester LE3 2fn MOT station now open, tests £35 with a free retest. Noticed it flashing today and it went off for a few seconds so probably is just a dodgy connection on the switch________________________________________ '01 Astor Grey GTi6'99 Cherry Rallye |
