Just bought a few tins of blaze yellow to spray the cyclones on my black 6. Got the idea from some gold clones I saw on here and thought ''I hate blaze yellow... let's use that'' Anyone else done this? Pics?, so I know what I can expect before its too late$ Or do you all think that I'm mad, and I should shut up and do them a normal colour like a sane person ________________________________________ 2005 Peugeot 206 GTI 1802008 BMW K1200R |

Casting a bad impression? Don't need to worry about that, there are enough chavs putting body kits, jap stickers and ripspeed alloys on their 6's doing that job anyway. My blaze clones will be a mere drop in the ocean of peugeots with bad taste.________________________________________ 2005 Peugeot 206 GTI 1802008 BMW K1200R |

Yeah well, black or grey would be too sensible I'd like to see what they look like too, they are old clones after all, may as well try a few things, ill get a few pics up over the next couple of days to let you all know how its going, and notorious, you have blaze clones? ________________________________________ 2005 Peugeot 206 GTI 1802008 BMW K1200R |

Will probably look fine. A safe option would have been scooby wheel gold but im sure blaze will be fine. Get lots of laquer, take time with prep and put some pics up________________________________________ Team SUPERCHARGEDI LIVE FOR THE 306 Old Project thread Clicky: click here remove the space between [url = |

Yeah, mine are blaze with a black rim, they have been well done and look alright on the car but not really to my taste, think I'm going to get some black 16's anyway as soon as I can afford them |

Notorious, I'm interested to an extent, not necessarily for the colour, but I could do with a second set of clones. How much are you looking to sell them for? If I decide to keep my 6 they would be very handy.UPDATE: just finished putting the blaze on the first wheel about 40mins ago. (Yes I'm aware its 1am!) Considering I used sandpaper rougher than a badgers arse and knocked a good 20 hours off the recommended drying time for the primer first impressions are good. however I haven't yet lacquered them or put them in contrast to the black of the car. I'm starting to worry that they won't suit the car until I lower it by a considerable amount as for some reason the front of my car is higher than a pimps Cadillac. Oh well, time will tell... ________________________________________ 2005 Peugeot 206 GTI 1802008 BMW K1200R |

So as i said... gold cyclones! here we have the finished product!!Opinions please. After 7 cans of beer a few weeks back, i decided it was time to finish the job. Used some really rubbish course paper to carry on with where i left off the night before. Did the same with 2 more wheels, rushing through it as im very impatient and cant be assed to wait. The remaining wheel, i let my wife spray who did a terrible job and so took a lot longer trying to sort it out. After waiting 2 hours i decided to begin spraying the wheels gold... 24 hour waiting times? nonsense. Another 3 hours of beering it up playing COD with my mates 1 wheel needed redoing as the cat thought it would make a nice seat. Also i began to apply the first coats of lacquer to the other 3 wheels. Went to the pub next. Woke up at 08:30 the following morning and put the wheels on the car, seemed to turn out ok considering it was an utter bodge job! Overall im actually impressed with how it all turned out, its not to everyones taste and i think the car could do with lowering to complete the look. Considering how these turned out im sure that with proper care and patience a really good job could be done with halfords cans. Let me know what you think! ________________________________________ 2005 Peugeot 206 GTI 1802008 BMW K1200R |
