Hi guys, posting this for a friend who just got a new 306 thats developed a problem. Its a 2000 Hdi.

His electrics stay on and drain his battery after he turns the car off. Normally he would turn the key off,and the radio, fans windows etc...wont work.

Now his radio stays on, his windows still work even with no keys and his interior fans and a/c work.

Any help??

Short in the ignition wiring, possibly a faulty ignition switch.

Just to add, this has all happened since he changed a blown fuse in the box under the steering wheel.

Im not fully sure yet, will have a look with him tomorrow. Oddly he put the broken fuse back in today, and its back to normal. Strange.
