I know this subject has been covered heaps of times and i have had a good search through the different topics but I just want a to put my mind at ease cause iv seen a lot of different figures.

I measured my current height on the drive which is not 100% level.

From the top of the cyclone to the arch on the front i got 120mm and the back 110 mm ( give or take 5mm for sag and the drive not being 100%)
Is this standard???

Also is it the xsara vts droplinks that are the decent quality metal ones??

Thanks

My Rallye is about the same (a few mm higher if anything though the drive is not level) and I have no reason to believe mine is anything other than bog standard.

It is essential to find 100% level ground.

It is more important to have the correct rake from front to rear. Look at the front and rear jacking points and measure at the small cut out square of metal. The rear should be 10-15mm higher than the front depending on front v rear tyre tread depths. I would go for 10mm if all the tyres are new or the same tread depth. Higher if the front tyres are worn more or you want a more comfortable ride or if you are driving smaller tight B roads. A more horizontal rake for fast corners (A roads) and higher rake for slower tighter corners (B roads). Also depends if you got kids or load in the car. etc. Also depends on how you like your toe in on the front tyres. If you like standard toe in then keep the rake standard. If you like no-toe (parallel) to reduce tyre wear on fast corners then slightly more rake is needed to compensate for the more crashy ride and to increase turn in.

So basically 10-15mm rake achieved by adjusting the rear beam :Roll eyes LOL
