Does anyone know if there is a difference in the stiffness of the rear subframe mounts on the Gti-6 and other 306 models?

Today Peugeot quoted me £91+VAT each for the front mounts and £41+VAT each for the rears!

I went to GSF to see if they could improve upon that price and the complete set was about £63 including VAT. When I asked if they was a different part for the GTi-6 compared to other models I was told that the parts were standard across the range.

Can anyone give me any advice on what they have bought in the past? These mounts are parts that I definitely don't want to skimp on. I definitely won't be buying the £10 a pair mounts that you can get on ebay.

You're talking about the mounts on the rear axle?

If so, get yourself a set of solid mounts Smile

Yep.

I don't think I'd be able to live with the harshness and extra rattles that must inevitably come with solid mounts. I quite like the 306's passive rear steer as well.

In that case should I trust the GSF parts to be of a high enough quality when they state one part for all models?

Do you know of anywhere else that sells OE rear subframe mounts?

No, You won't get long out of them at all.
OK for normal motortrade but if your keeping your car then go for the OE ones
