Hi there my sterring make s allsorts noise's if your parking. I checked to see if there was any oil in it and there was. I ve also changed the belt to see if will improve it and made no diffrence. I thinking might might be a pump problem just seein if anyone has had the same as me. Also will a turbo diesil pump fit from a mk 1 cheers  |

Mine got really noisy when it was low on fluid, was fine when topped up. If yours is noisy with fluid in then i would say the pump is goosed. Not sure about whether the phase 1 dt pump is the same. |
