I have recently bought some coilovers second hand, unfortunatly one of the threaded sections at the top of the section is damaged, this has also damaged the top mount elongating the hole. I understand i now need a new top mount.

However! The damage to the thread even on a new top mount is causing issues as there is now excessive play between this section and the hole. Therefore i can forsee this occuring again. Is there anything i can do ?

Whats the torque setting for the top mount bolt as well? Cheers for the suggestion, obviously i was looking into somthing that would buffer the space between the strut/top mount.

Btw i love your car, every mod i want is already on it!
