hi all, newbie to the gti-6 scene, had a couple of 106 gti's but due to the works car failing MOT got a gti-6 for a few months.

Alarm started playing up tonight, sounder doesnt work but the headlights keep flashing? had a play with the button on the dash and nothings doing.

Can i just uplug/diconnect the alarm, and it'll stop the flashing too? Immobiliser works as it should

thanks all Smile

You can just remove the alarm relay in the fusebox.

The brown relay by the fusebox is the headlight flasher relay, remove that.

I meant to do it for over a year and only got round to it yesterday LOL
