Just put a new gear box mount on, but how much thread should be seen once the nut is on tight as this positions the gear box height.________________________________________ |

the spacer tube underneath the mounting bush on the stud sets the height, you just tighten the nut to the torque setting.________________________________________ need a part number? get on here - http://public.servicebox.peugeot.comBring on the Trumpets. |

That's a 205 mount not a 306 one. It's fundamentally the same apart from coming up higher but the hollow part on the underside is a different shape and might not fit the 306 mount sleeve correctly.________________________________________ Rich |

cheers lads, iv taken it for a good drive a it feels smooth and steady so i think its ok, the mount i took out was identical to the one i put in, so the previous owner must of settled for a 205 mount, even the label had stamped 2.0 306 on it. Anyway its fine.________________________________________ |
