Allot of money to do it right,
Pistons, Rods, Manifold, Turbo, Intercooler and pipework, ECU to name a few

Look up DP engineering mate, they do everything you need. They do decompression plate on there as well as a lower cost alternative to running complete forged internals, but I've no idea what the guys here think of that solution but following an e-mail that I sent to dp ages ago they claim that they've had over 400 hp from an S16 engine with stock internals and a decompression plate. GTI6 engines have lighter internals than the S16 (not sure if there any weaker) and they said that 400 hp on just a decompression plate is a safe max limit, just make sure you use a good quality ester based fully synthetic oil also.

Also I would appreciate the more expirianced people to comment as just running a decompression plate seems a little too good to be true. But I'll keep an open mind because I'm also keen to here what you think.

Cheers

Also I would like to sadd if you look at some of there projects, a lot of them only run a plate. Only the mega powered ones run forged internals.

depending what you want from the car? or what your going to use it for,

if track car i'd get a good spec n/a engine or run a supercharger kit off rich_w

if its a road car i'd still use a rich_w supercharger kit on the gti6 engine, 250 on tap and its just a bolt on conversion.

for the low boost set up that lynx offer, its a performance bargain, was it about £1500 for about 250bhp?

I'm all for Turbo's over Charger's as you get more Torque,
But for value the charger cannot be beaten, Don't even bother with the 2.0 8v turbo engine, Rubbish
