Any one got any tips for dialling in my cams at the weekend? Or if any one local wants to do it i'll sort em a good drink outSmile. I've got omega hi-comp pistons with Newman pH'4s.

Make sure you accurately find TDC, preferably by measuring 10-20 degrees before and after and splitting the difference.
Nice long thin pointer on your dti so it'll sneak past the cam onto the lifter.
Make up a piece of plate or similar that will bolt in-between the cam carriers so your dti has a good solid base to attach to.
Always turn the engine clockwise, you'll get false measurements if you start turning it in both directions.
Make sure you've got the correct figures for setting the cams and that your damn sure you've got enough clearance at TDC.

HTH, allan
