Hi all,
Ive just just some 16/205 45 on my car, and they fit perfectly with plenty of space round so there is no rubbing.

The wheels have an offset of ET 42 and after adding the 15mm spacers I had from my previous wheels makes it have an offset of ET 27, which is nowhere near the recommended offset of ET 15-18.

Although the wheels do not rub, is there any other reason why i shouldn't have it at this offset?

How wide are the wheels? 7J?

The wheels will be further inboard than with the correct ET which will affect the handling with having a narrower track but that will be less noticeable with a wider wheel

(I think Dunno)

yes the wheels are 7J. I did wonder because the wheels are more inboard wether it will affect it much.

The previous setup on the car had wheels that were ET 15 and then had the 15mm spacers on top making it ET 0!
