hi, im new here and have just bought a 2000 306 1.4, as the tital says im having problems with the o/s front suspension, the car didnt handle right when i bought it so i got the 4 wheel alignment checked, long story short, ive fitted a new o/s wishbone (non genunine), and fitted a second hand hub and strut. got alignment checked this morning and they said its still the same. where do i go from here? thanks for any advice

its kinda the only thing left. But the thing is that ive done loads of measurements on the subframe and everything checks out, i was just wondering does anyone have any specs for body measurements to see if the chassis is bent, out of a matter of intrest, what is the distance between the front top shocks on other cars?

wrong balljoint is a possibility, non pas are shorter and give positive camber on a pas car

i was hoping to hear something like that, the new wishbone i fitted isnt genuine and the ball joint is rivited into the wishbone rather than bolted like the oe equiptment. ill try a wishbone and let you know how i get on, thanks for that

It's definitely a ball joint for a PAS car, aye?

Only other thing I think it could be then is it's taken a bump. New wishbone and ball joint should have cured it...
