Hi all, new here and was looking for some sdvice, I know this has probably been asked 100's of times but dont wanna spend hours looking through old threads

I bought some lowering springs to bring the car down 35mm, fitted them today but looks like the old damper is knacked as when we got them on the car and lowered the jack it just sank to the ground, which is strange as they were working fine before? not happy. The passanger side is fine although there was hardly any travel left in the damper.

I bought the car about 3 months ago and just want it as a road car with a couple of track days a year, I have upgraded the brakes and just want decent suspension and some semi slicks.

Dont wanna spend too much on some dampers so what would people recommend? Are the bilstein oem's any good? and will they work with my 35mm pro sport spings?

Any advice greatly appreciated and if anyone is on gt5 and wants a race my log in on here is my psn name.

What springs are they? Something's definitely not right, but a worn damper wouldn't cause that.

Sounds like the springs are either wrong or faulty, or the struts haven't been assembled correctly.

thanks for your response

these are the springs http://www.motorsportworld.co.uk/detprod.asp?productcode=PS-121056&PID=1434354

I intended to put them on the original dampers would that not be recommended?

I found it strange as there was no fluid leak and the damper seemed fine before i put the spring on it, the other side went on fine? this sort of thing always happens when i mess around with cars lol
