Just replaced the rain sensor for new and still only intermittent wipe?
Any ideas????

Yep the light is on,also checked the relays and new sensor fitted, only wipes as normal intermittent

Normal intermittent? Mine doesn't have normal intermittent - the gap between the wipes varies depending how hard it's raining.
(Mine could be broken though!)

Thats auto wiping gets faster as it more rain/water hits the sensor

But then it really scrapes the windscreen if it's dry and sunny!

I'd suggest a broken sensor or wire or the sensor isn't seated right on the window.

My car was working on slow intermittent until I changed the sensor. Rain sensing is really good!
