The Cam Belt on my GTI 6 is well overdue a change.what have people paid in the past for this to be done? is it something that can be done at home on the drive? I am happy changing brakes and doing servicing like spark plugs etc. but don't have any specialist tools so would it be best to get a local indy to do the Cam Belt? Pay someone to do it, not worth the risk if you aren't 100% sure what you're doing. Peugeot will want around £400 for a belt, kit and water pump change; pretty sure a couple of guys on here will do it for £250-odd. ________________________________________ Membership expiring soon, get in contact on our new little forum project. |
